The Volcom Garden Experience European Tour has started with a banger last weekend at Pier15 skatepark in Breda, Netherlands.
Live music, Art exhibition, Skateboarding, creative flea market, Slow cooked BBQ, beers, fireworks and all-around good vibes!

Donna Blue from Amsterdam opened up under the heat with their polished retro sound and mesmerizing voice, while kids were diving from boat roofs in the canals.
Then Niko put on another gear on stage followed by French band Leopard Ale getting the audience into the groove right before sunset.

Some of the best shots of seasoned skate photographer Jelle Keppens were exhibited together with limited screenprinted posters from Elzo Durt and four collaborative works of Mike Giant with European artists FreakCity, Nicolas Côme (Sinpiggyhead), Hugo Zorro and Elzo Durt. Limited copies are for sale during each of the Volcom Garden Experience European stops.

Things kicked in brutally with the Bonkies party at the skate bowl that saw Rob Maatman, Vincent Matheron, Nick Bax, Woody Hoogendijk and more battle for the 1000€ prize purse under the fire of the Nineyards skateparks crew and their fireworks…check the Flatspot mag video to see the action…

Then Pizza Knife from Utrecht got the beers and human bodies flying all over the place, setting things up for Mozes And The Firstborn who played a killer set of their best grungy tunes.
The spirits were already super high when King Khan’s Louder Than Death sealed the deal with their decadent punk rock annihilation.
